(This is a foundation certificate and is only a valid qualification on the successful completion of a application module, ie PA2 or PA6)

Training Method

Classroom delivered module with a multiple choice online assessment.

Aims of the Course

To ensure the candidate is competent in the safe handling of pesticides and is fully prepared for the assessment.

Who is the Course for

It is a legal requirement for any persons applying pesticides on a commercial basis to be qualified.  This course will provide the knowledge for the PA 1 foundation certificate, on completion of this the candidate will need to complete an application module ie. PA2 Ground Crop Sprayer to gain the full qualification.

• Risk assessments of the pesticide and the site
• Container handling, storage and disposal
