Indoor Arena

 

The indoor arena is a large enclosed building, a blank canvass.  With dimension boasting 18m x 13m x 4m (Door Height) it is truly adaptable.

 

It could be used to train or demonstrate machinery, scaffolding etc. or host an exhibition under cover.

Windmill Training’s campus is set on a working farm, Windmill Farm, in the heart of South Somerset.  It offers a wide range of facilities to make your training relaxed, enjoyable, productive and easy.

 

Located only two miles from the A303,as well as Yeovil, we are well located for urban facilities, such as restaurants, pubs, take away, accommodation etc., and convenient access to the M5, A30 or direct to London.  Yet the campus itself is in a peaceful rural setting just outside the village of Montacute behind the world famous Montacute House.

Classroom

 

The classroom is very adaptable, suitable for both practical tasks and managerial or formal training.

 

At 10m x 6m it will seat 25 people very comfortably, each with generous desk space or with the desks removed it can seat considerably more.  Complimentary cooled water, tea and coffee is available throughout your course or hire period.

 

The classroom set on the farm in the countryside provides a relaxed, hassle free venue for your event.  It has multiple windows to appreciate the view and produce a light, airy, fresh feel

 

The classroom has a wireless network system connected to the internet available with the hire of our laptops or connected via your own machines.

Presentation equipment is available to hire ie. Projector, IT equipment, DVD, Video etc.

 

The training centre has been designed for disabled access.

The campus is available for private hire be it a conference, in house training event, meeting, activity day, team building, exhibitions etc.

The Great Outdoors

 

As previously mentioned Windmill Training is situated on a working farm offering many resources for training or your conference / exhibition needs.

 

The land is a mix of grassland and arable cropping providing a range of opportunities to demonstrate agricultural machinery or operating digging equipment, pipe layers etc.

 

Throughout the farm is a network of tracks in stone, concrete and tarmac suitable for training requiring mock roads.  There is also a range of yards in stone and concrete ideal for training and demonstrating.

 

The cattle on site are available if required to demonstrate with handling facilities or simply visit them for a break from proceedings'.

 

Car Parking

 

The campus includes ample parking spaces along side the classroom however transport can be provided from local pick ups ie train station, airport or from your accommodation.
