Who is the Course for
|
The full qualification is for those involved, or intending to be involved, with electrical installations and have not received a formal qualification in the Requirements for Electrical Installations since 2001.

- Understand the scope object and fundamental principals of the 17th Edition
- Knowledge and understanding of the essential definitions
- Knowledge and understanding required to assess the general characteristics of the
energy source or supply, and the installation
- Knowledge and understanding of protection for safety of electrical installations
- Knowledge and understanding of selection and erection of equipment for electrical installations
- Knowledge and understanding of inspection and testing and reporting for electrical installations
- Knowledge and understanding of special installations or locations and their requirements for electrical installations
- Understanding of the relevant appendices of the BS 7671:2008
